Zirconia material, which started to be used with the development of the latest mobile aesthetic dentistry, is as durable as metal and aesthetic as glass ceramic porcelains.
Due to its resistance to high forces and its tooth color, it has become more preferred than metal-supported porcelains used for years.
While metal is used as substructure in classical metal-supported porcelain, white zirconium is used as substructure in zirconium coatings. This gives both durability and a perfect appearance.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?
Aesthetics are at the highest level. While a gray line is formed between the teeth and gums in crowns with a metal substructure, it does not occur in zirconium porcelains. Zirconium supported porcelains are lighter.
AESTHETIC PORCELAIN OR COMPOSITE FILLERS (INLAY ONLAY)
Today, amalgam filling materials are no longer used. Composite materials that are prepared with nano technology, fully aesthetic, resistant to chewing forces, bond to the tooth at the highest level and have the least abrasion are preferred.
They can be used in the anterior and posterior regions.
ONLAY AND INLAY
They are porcelain or composite fillings prepared in a laboratory environment for teeth with excessive substance loss. Onlay and inlay restorations with longer life are preferred instead of amalgam or composite fillings in teeth with large decays or root canal treatment. Its edge compatibility and connection with teeth is very good.
